Brief overview of program: Long Beach City College Electrical Program has been approved by the California Apprenticeship Council as "Approved School Number 101". The California Apprenticeship Council affirmed the January 1, 2006 deadline for certification for general electrician, residential electrician and fire life safety technician.
Students enrolling in the Electrical Technology Program for the first time in the day program should enroll in Elect 200A. Students starting the evening program or Saturday classes should enroll in Elect 202, 204 and 210A. See the Curriculum Guide for additional recommendations.
