Description of Facilities: The facilities of the Columbia University campus in New York City and those of the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory in Palisades, NY are available. There are also cruises on the R/V Marcus G. Langseth.
Program Faculty: Marine specialties range from Marine Biology, Marine Geology, Marine Geophysics, Marine Science, and Marine Seismology. Student Support: Masters degree candidates at the School of Arts and Sciences at Columbia do not receive fellowships. Loans are available. The School of Journalism offers some financial aid.
